I see someone has reported our Pit Bull art thread - presumably to Facebook. Rather than do that, it would have been much better if anyone objecting had put up their comments here. Many of us thought that thread with its repulsive illustrations was actually useful for everybody to see, simply because it showed the way pit bull advocates think. I would say the people behind it were depraved.
It was put up here as an example of that depravity.
We have to know what we are campaigning against and recognise that some of the pit bull advocates are people with extremely unpleasant views.

Lesley Karen Luscombe Believe me, if it had met ANY Facebook criteria for removal, it would be gone. It clearly DIDN'T, as it's still here.

If ANYONE gets a personal message saying 'hey I find this offensive, would you remove it', IT'S A TRY-ON from an individual and NOTHING to do with Facebook. It means that someone TRIED to find a criteria to report it to Facebook but couldn't FIND a criteria to fit it.

Don't bow down to pressure like that from Pitters.

Lisa Gaffney I'm sure pit bull advocates reported both those drawings and the graphic photo. Facebook did not remove either. I took the graphic photo down at my own discretion due to possibly upsetting victims. Pit bull advocates want this all pushed under the carpet, like everything else. Obstructing and denying the truth is a full time job for them.

Lisa Gaffney Maybe we should make a thread showing victims of pit bull attacks and just include the photos on the comment posts where replies are shown rather than immediately visible. This way we could say on the main thread warning graphic pictures contained inside so those who don't want to see don't have to but people who are on the fence about the issue can observe and come to their own conclusions
