Isabella Marie This one does. It's an "uncensored" Service dog group. They say you can say anything you want, as long as it's not a personal attack. Which even though this is, the moderators sided with her. I never once attacked anyone at all. I used the term Pit-nutter an they said that was a personal attack. It's very fucked up.

Brenda Carr You can start by asking them why a so called nanny dog, that was bred to protect children would attack and kill children so often. That woman is a peanut short of being a total nutcase. And unfortunately, that's your typical nutter. They pick dogs that emulate them. No matter what you say, you will be wrong, even if you are right and you know it. No matter how much proof you show them, you'll still be wrong. Some of those people are too far gone to help. But go ahead and gather info from some of the links that were provided in your other post. I trust dogsbite myself, but these nutters have stuck to the mantra about dogsbite lies and skews info, Just like the nanny dog lie. But if we all keep throwing relevant info at them, it might get through to at least one of them, and maybe save a life. Good luck hun.

Fataah Ewe' Do you think there is any point in arguing with people like this. They are going to breed pits, sell pits and that's what they do. They have got their package wrapped and sealed. It's not gonna be about ethics. Probably they believe in less rules and a free market too.

NOW on the other hand the UKC... the one founded to give Pits a 'registry' will 'certify' almost any bloody designer dog that comes along to give the idiots trying to make a buck out of breeding mutts had an undetermined number. but the United Kennel Club is a joke amongst real dog people..... and they have been ever since they were founded.

Gini Barrett The only useful aspect of debating the pit bull nuts is to practice getting your data and arguments organized. If you want to make a difference - talk to people in the real world. Talk to them online - okay to an extent. But talk to them in the real world - at clubs, events, schools, humane societies, in your local papers, on local radio stations, local TV stations, etc. Organize events, participate in parades, fairs, etc. Have an educational booth at the County Fair, any other local event. In dog parks, at dog shows, at dog events, in or near dog supply stores. Pit bull owners are a very small percentage of the public (in most places). They are a smaller percentage of voters. Organize your friends and hold educational meetings with City Council members. Meet with the editorial board of your local papers. Find out which reporters cover animal stories and contact them and offer to be a resource for them if a story emerges.

Penny Spears I think it's possible to change minds on FB, but never the people who are arguing with. Lots of people lurk and read- I think those are the ones who can be influenced. You'll never know, since these stay silent. But a well-reasoned and factual argument does sway minds! Most people won't jump into the fray, it gets so emotional on the nutter side. Stay calm and refute their points. We all have to do this! Pits need to become extinct.
