Jeff Borchardt militia or group?

Another comment left on my blog:
I thought you might be interested in Ledy VanKavage's latest lies about making fighting dogs all better. I wonder who at this newspaper decided to use it to propagandize? Ledy lies are getting so many innocent pets killed by fighting dogs.

  • Jeff Borchardt Apparently Ledy forgot to tell the Mountain Press that even after years and hundreds of thousands of dollars and training, two of the Vick pit bulls broke containment and killed another dog at her Best Friends sanctuary after they were declared rehabilitated.
  • Jeffrey Sloan Jeff I thought that happened soon after their "rescue" - in any case there was no excuse for it. As I recall they blamed "animals" in the area for "spooking" the poor misunderstood pibbles and causing them to tear the other dog's head off.
  • Jeff Borchardt Jeffrey Sloan, right when I think I have it all figured out, something else comes along that I have no clue about... all I can do is keep reading and soaking it in.
  • Jeff Borchardt IE: canine protection dogs.
  • Jeff Borchardt If you would've asked me what an ESA dog was 6 months ago, I would've said you were nuts
  • Fataah Ewe' Why is it so unthinkable that these are fighting dogs? Is it that that is the real attraction for some people but they can't admit the fascination?
  • Lucy Muir The killer vick dogs weren't declared rehabilitated, but they had been at Best Friends for almost 2 years when they escaped and killed after receiving intensive "rehabilitation" the whole time which would have cost thousands of dollars. http://cravendesires.blogspot.com/.../best-friends...
  • Lucy Muir Jeff, you have absorbed a tremendous amount of information in a very short time!
  • Lisa Gaffney I can't read the article, apparently I've used up my 2 free views.
  • Dusty Brown How do they sleep at night? What blatant lies and delusional opinions.
  • Gail L Rosbach They are Psychopaths. They have no conscience. They do not feel empathy or guilt.
  • Cindy Jean I agree with you!
  • Heather Landry Me too, Lisa. It's a subscription site. Maybe Jeff will copy/paste it here.
  • Gwendolyn Hanan They want 14 bucks for 1 month and 165 for a year to read their articles, ain't happenin'!! If someone got access could they cut and paste article pls
  • Christy Cornell I must have also used up my free views. Probably a good thing. I can only read so much PB propaganda before I pass out from the blatant lies and stupidity emanating like stink off the page.
  • Dusty Brown Once again, a Pit pimp defies science. Learned helplessness occurs when an animal is repeatedly subjected to an aversive stimulus that it cannot escape. Eventually, the animal will stop trying to avoid the stimulus and behave as if it is utterly helpless to change the situation. Even when opportunities to escape are presented, this learned helplessness will prevent any action. This is what happens to dogs who are "trained" to fight, not born to fight. Trained dogs serve as nothing more than bait dogs for dogs bred to fight. No matter what a Golden Retriever does in a Pit, it would come from a place of fear, and fear aggression will never defeat offensive aggression. So much for her uneducated hooey.
